Location: Erg Lihoudi Standard Camp is situated in a picturesque and serene spot in the heart of the desert. The campsite boasts breathtaking desert views, and you can even ascend the nearby dunes for even more spectacular vistas. We highly recommend an extended stay at our camp to explore the less-traveled, remote areas of Erg Lihoudi. You can reach our camp by 4×4 or camel, or for the adventurous, on foot with one of our local nomad guides to ensure you don’t lose your way.
The Camp: Our camp is the heart of the desert experience. Here, we welcome you to our desert home with our famous tea and delicious meals. It’s where stories are shared, traditional Berber music fills the air, and dancing under the starry desert sky happens. Our spacious camp consists of interconnected tents arranged in a circle, with the central area dedicated to a campfire that warms the cool desert evenings.
Bathroom Facilities: We take great pride in maintaining spotlessly clean shared bathroom facilities for our guests. Additionally, we have a solar hot water system to provide warm showers, ensuring your comfort during your stay.
Food and Drinks: Indulge in our buffet-style meals, where you’ll find a variety of options to suit your taste buds. We also accommodate dietary preferences as much as possible within the constraints of the desert, ensuring that your culinary experience is both satisfying and memorable.

The perfect place if you want to stay by the Chegaga Dunes! The tents are spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable, the shared showers and toilets are also clean. Value for money is definitely right. In the evening it was very atmospheric, the food was extremely tasty and plentiful. So everything was great and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
